The media fulfill a vital function in the various aspects of human life, which is to inform populations in all areas of life. Regarding this article we raised a question which concerns the relationship between the media and terrorism. It is then a question of the dialectical relationship between terrorism and the media in various aspects, including the functions of the media and their negative effects on the impact of the phenomenon of terrorism. To also demonstrate in this article how the media in their way of functioning manage to give impact to terrorist action. The media play the role of mediator in the interaction between populations and the fomenters of terrorism. The impact of the media on public perception is very important. We demonstrate that media coverage of terrorism has much more impact than the terrorist actions themselves. This impact consists of creating a climate of anxiety and terror within populations. However, in this article we have defined what media are in general, starting from media described as traditional (Radio, television, newspapers, etc.) to those described as modern (internet, social networks, etc.). As for terrorism, despite the global interest in the phenomenon of terrorism, no specific, clear and precise definition of terrorism has yet been agreed upon! Definitions multiply and contradict each other, because of the variety of forms and manifestations of terrorism, the diversity of its methods and patterns, and the profusion of international opinions, political tendencies and beliefs regarding it.

Les médias remplissent une fonction vitale dans les divers aspects de la vie humaine qui est celui d’informer les populations dans tous les domaines de la vie. En ce qui concerne cet article nous avons évoqué une question qui touche à la relation entre les médias et le terrorisme. Il est alors question de la relation dialectique entre le terrorisme et les médias sous divers aspects, dont les fonctions des médias et leurs effets négatifs sur l’impact du phénomène du terrorisme. De démontrer aussi dans cet article comment les médias dans leur façon de fonctionner arrivent à donner l’impact à l’action terroriste. Les médias assurent le rôle de médiateur dans l’interaction entre les populations et les fomenteurs du terrorisme. L’impact des médias sur la perception des populations est très capital. Nous démontrons que la médiatisation en matière du terrorisme a beaucoup plus d’impact que les actions terroristes elles-mêmes. Cet impact consiste dans le fait de créer un climat d’angoisse et de terreur au sein de populations. Cependant nous avons dans cet article définit ce que ce les médias d’une manière générale, en partant des médias qualifiés de traditionnels (Radio, télévision journaux.) jusqu’aux qualifiés de modernes (internet, réseaux sociaux...). Quant au terrorisme, malgré l’intérêt mondial pour le phénomène du terrorisme, aucune définition spécifique, claire et précise du terrorisme n’a encore été convenue ! Les définitions se multiplient et se contredisent, à cause de la variété des formes et des manifestations du terrorisme, la diversité de ses méthodes et de ses schémas, et la profusion des opinions internationales, des tendances politiques et des croyances à son égard.
